Ideas are unique and there shouldn't be any form of infringement without the consent of the original owner. It is also punishable by law if in any case an individual is found guilty of intellectual theft.
The Nigerian music is now recognized globally as our musicians have worked relentlessly over the years to get our music and all that it entails where it is today. Intellectual infringement can not be erased totally in our music settings and for that reason the victim of this theft, does all within his or her power to let the world know.

Such case was witnessed years back when Dj Exclusive infringed on Rekado Banks concept. Also Phyno didn't take it likely earlier last month when his idea was copied by an American female artist.

Today, A fast rising artist from the east side of Nigeria "Da4nix" aka Mr joy is complaining bitterly after the release of Mr Flavour N'abania new single titled "Yoka na baby".
According to Da4nix, Mr flavour stole his idea from the song he released back in 2014 titled "Yoka". And if you listen to Da4nix perform or if you listen to his songs.. you would tell that "Yoka" has been a sort of trade mark for him.
From what I have gathered, it is very unfair for an already made artist to infringe on an idea of an upcoming artist without his notice.. when he could have sing along with him or something.

Da4nix signed to Triple O money music Label is not happy about this and the management is willing to take it up to any level.
The picture above describes all I have been trying to say. You can download Da4nix songs on every music website. Naija loaded, too exclusive.. to mention a few.
Say no to intellectual theft. Acknowledging the originator of an idea doesn't make you less an artist.
